Skip breakfast, ego depleted, not good, with sleep issue too! Body needs stores to do this successfully, not there yet!

Case of compromise and men seeking instant gratification after seeing attractive women, complete thoughts… Therefore ego depleted, focus on keeping options open can have high costs, depleting, leading to no. Action. Judge study, hotness study, car sales and suits, easier options first is better, to ease into decision making, making experience more enjoyable.

Self awareness, thrifty vs frugal, continuum, like self control.
Self awareness, adaptive to enable self control to generalize to cultural values and thrive.
Mirrors make us compare to others, self quantification, raises self awareness, making it public solidifies the deal, more self conscious. In each case standards are being question and interpreted. Not a bad thing.

Willpower, set goal, in erase willpower, also increase stamina in self control and generalize to other Spects of life.
But this is like a diet, constantly need to find new motivation if you want o keep it up. Hedonic treadmill. Self discipline is imp. But not whole pixutere.

Think you have plenty of self control in cold state, like setting goal, no oreo’s but when tired and hungry (hot state) lose self control, forgotten in cold state
Precommitment, public accountability. Way to succeed. Also money bet helps. Can lead to habit.
