What is mind-body dualism?
the belief that the mind is a spiritual entity not subject to the physical laws that govern the body.

What are the mental properties of the brain?
- thoughts ideas, etc.
What are physical properties of the brain?
- physical properties size, shape, texture, neurochemistry, eletrical signals etc.
What is a freudian slip?
an unintentional error usually in speech that is thought to reveal unconscious processes
What is socio-cultural perspective?
How behaviour changes based off interactions with different people.
peoples thoughts and actions are influenced by cultural factors, like stereotypes, cultural norms, media, and racial differences.
What is the psychodynamic perspective?
normal and pathological personality development in terms of the unconcious dynamics of the mind.
Unconcious mind controls our thoughts and actions

what is humanistic perspective?
Focus on humans and motivations for behaviour and what is driving us to meet our full potential or self-actualization this may be a reason for determining our behaviour

What is behavioural perspective?
People will only change their behavior if there are incentives to do so
Explains human behaviour in terms of conditioning and reinforcement. It focuses on how we learn certain behaviours. We are more likely to do things because of positive outcomes over negative outcomes.
