National tourist board and helps the economy as it promotes the UK as a key holiday destination to try and attract inbound tourists, boost the economy and provide jobs etc.

A
Re - patrinate (send someone back to their own country) uk citizens, give destination advice / guidance, give visa and passport information / applicant, embassy and consulate services overseas.

What are the disadvantages of FCDO ?
A
Their embassy and consulate services might have certain open hours, part of the private sector could result in funds being cut and therefore a reduction / impact on services.
