Q

What is appetite?

A

appetite is a desire for food that is based on emotions and other factors rather than nutritional need. Unlike hunger, which is an inborn response, appetite is learned. For example, your appetite may make you want to eat popcorn because you have learned to associate that smell with a delicious taste. Your appetite can make you eat even when you are not hungry.
