Can cause metabolic acidosis and hyperkalemia.

A
Crystal aggregation collecting in kidneys. Signs and Symptoms: Pall, cool clammy skin Men have pain in testicles Dysuria Flank Pain Pain radiates to the groin or abdomen Look for edema in hands and feet

How do kidneys compensate for renal failure?
A
Prevent absorption causing edema in other organs and other electrolyte imbalance. This can cause cardiac dysrhythmias.
