Histamine
Kinins
Prostaglandins

Result in vasodilation and increased permeability of vessels, causing oedema

A

Up to 3 weeks (depending on severity)
Elimination of debris
Production of fibroblasts
Collagen and other protein fibres are laid down in a haphazard manner
