The dense network of blood vessels and the blood which they carry in one direction around every corner of the human body.

A
They ensure oxygen and nutrients are delivered to all repairing cells for energy production.

55% - plasma
45% - cells

What FOUR functions does BLOOD have.

- transport nutrients such as oxygen and nutrients
- protect and fight disease
- maintain the internal stability of the body (homeostasis)
