- prochlorperazine
- also antipsychotic
- should only be used short term
- not used as much but can be used if other drugs are not working
- can cause drowsiness
- adverse effect: abnormal muscle tone with excessive doses or prolonged use

A
- metoclopramide
- inhibition of dopamine activity
- pro-motility agent; take 30 min before eating
- used for: diabetic gastroparesis, symptomatic GERD

- for motion sickness

- atropine is to make sure that ppl do not abuse as iv drug
- adjunct in management of diarrhea

- counseling: discontinue using if it does not work within 48 hours

- loperamide
- Antidiarrheal agent
- Used for management of diarrhea
- start with two tablets at first stool; take one tablet for every loose stool thereafter
- max of 4 tab per day
- max of 2 days
