- Applies to employers with 15 or more employees and prohibits discrimination in hiring/firing/advancement, etc
- Qualified Individual: person who can perform “essential” functions with or without reasonable accommodations
- Making adjustments to accommodate for the worker like modifying equipment or devices, making facility accessible
- Employer is not required to lower quality or production standards to make accommodation and it must not cause undue hardship
- Undue Hardship: an action requiring significant difficulty or expense when considering factors such as employers size, financial resources, etc
