Tech 2 Flashcards
What is the purpose of the HYD priority valve?
Under low system pressure, high load users are cut off
When does the fuel crossfeed valve automatically open?
In EMER ELEC CONFIG
What systems does the the HYD priority valve cut off?
Ldg gear, Emer gen, NWS (LEN)
If the Emer gen is powered by the RAT, when is it automatically turned off?
At slat extension. Can be turned back on by using MAN ON
In normal law, what is the pitch attitude limited to?
30°
If the ground spoilers are disarmed, with they function on landing?
Yes, once both MLGs down & 1 eng in Rev (other in idle)
How can fuel flow to a running eng be stopped?
Selecting eng master to OFF or pressing eng fire pb
NWS steering has no inputs from the hand wheel on ldg above what speed?
100kt (authority gradually reduced from 14 kt)
When is the alt alert inhibited?
- slats out and gr down,
- GS capture
- gr down
When the APU bleed valve PB is on, what happens to valves in AIR SYS.
- Eng bleed valves close
- x-bleed valve opens
- APU bleed valve opens
What is the risk of holding the IDG disconnect button for more than 3 secs?
May damage the disconnect mechanism
What could trigger a spurious FWD CRG SMOKE warning on the ground?
Insecticide spraying or a very humid day
What do the two channels of the SFCC do?
One for flaps, other for slats
If one SFCC fails, how will this effect flap/slat operation?
Flaps and slats will move at half speed
With high speed protection activated at 45° AoB what bank angle will the aircraft roll to with no stick input?
0° - wings level (in normal law would usually be to 33°)
