Prime Roll

Shrimp Creamed the Scallywag Carp

DESCRIPTION
- A Sushi rice, Nori roll…

FILLED WITH: tempura shrimp, cream cheese, scallions

TOPPED WITH: Carpaccio beef

GARNISHED WITH: eel sauce on plate, sea salt and black pepper on top.

SERVED WITH: Pickled Ginger and Wasabi.

*Allergies — gluten, soy, fish, shellfish, dairy

SERVICE
- Appetizer oval in front of each guest
- Chopsticks placed to the right side of each guest, facing the guest.
- One sushi Ramekin per guest, and one soy pot per table brought to the table on appetizer oval (soy pot on doily on the left side of the oil).
- Stack ramekins up to six per plate.

Rap: This surf and turf roll is the best representation of Ocean Prime in a roll. Filled with tempura shrimp, cream cheese, scallions, topped with carpaccio beef, and served over eel sauce, which gives it a little sweetness. It’s finished with a little salt and pepper to really make the flavors pop.

FILLED WITH:
#1 Tuna
Salmon Belly
Avocado (seasoned with chili oil, sesame oil and shiso leaves)

TOPPED WITH: sliced Hamachi, wasabi tobiko (Flying Fish roe), crunchy garlic oil (gluten?), minced chives, and sea salt

GARNISHED WITH:

SERVED WITH: Pickled Ginger and Wasabi.

*shiso leaf: Japanese sesame leaf (hint of mint flavor)

*Allergies — soy, fish, MSG

SERVICE

Rap: For real sushi fans, this rice and nori roll is filled with ahi tuna, salmon, and avocado seasoned with chili and sesame oils, and a little shiso leaf. It’s topped with sliced Hamachi (japanese amberjack or yellowtail), along with some flying fish roe (Wasabi Tobiko).

*Sesame Seeds are in the mayo

TOPPED WITH:

GARNISHED WITH: Shiso leaf and toasted sesame seeds.

SERVED WITH: Pickled Ginger and Wasabi. Served over a sesame lime vinaigrette.

Rap: This vegan roll has a nice, balanced complexity; there’s a brightness from the mango, the daikon sprouts give it a light spiciness, and the asparagus gives it a nice crunch.

Hamachi Crudo

A

Rap: A light and bright dish, this features fresh, thinly-sliced Hamachi (also called Yellowtail or a Japanese Amberjack), with a cucumber seaweed salad in a sriracha vin and a pickled mango, which adds a lot of the brightness that I mentioned.

peppadew peppers,
daikon radish sprouts,
snap peas,
sea salt,
cilantro,
Sriracha vinaigrette,
dusted with Togarashi (orange peel, sesame seeds, nori, red pepper flakes).

  • Hamachi is a Japanese amberjack
