Speech and writing will be impaired (can understand written and spoken language)
What is global aphasia?
Damage to both Broca’s and wernickes (unable to use any form of language)
Dysarthria
Speech disorder caused by muscle weakness
Dysphagia
Difficulty swallowing (common post stroke)
What does Dysphagia effect?
Chewing and swallowing which can cause nutrition and dehydration problems
