What is the cardiovascular phase to the cooldown
The cool down takes about 5-10 mins to return the heart to resting depending on the activity
What is the stretching phase of a cooldown
Static stretching are prefered in a cooldown and are held for 30-35 secs

10-20mins involves gradually increasing the intensity
What activity comes after the warm up?
The main session(game or match)

An effective cooldown assists recovery, reduces heart rate and helps remove lactic acid and other waste products
A cooldown consists of 2 phases
Light cardio phase and stretching phase
Why are the 2 phases of a cooldown important
Decreases muscle tension, returns muscle to pre excersize state and also helps slowly return the heart and breathing rate to resting rates
