What is Specificity?
Specificity is where the training is matched to the needs of the individual sport.
What is individual needs?
Individual needs is where the training matches the needs to the individual doing it.
What is progressive overload?
Progressive overload is gradually increasing a part of your training over time to improve a component of fitness.
What is FITT?
FITT is a method of training which stands for frequency (how long) intensity (how hard) time (how long) and type (method)
Target zone
The range within which an individual needs to work for aerobic training to take place (60-80 per cent of maximum heart rate)
