What is the dosing schedule for NRT gum?
If first cigarette for the day <30 min after waking = 2mg
If >30 min = 4 mg
Wk 1 to 6: 1 piece every 1-2 hrs
Wk 7 to 9: 1 piece every 2-4 hrs
Wk 10 to 12: 1 piece every 4 to 8 hours
How do you use NRT gum?
“Chew and park”
Chew until tingling, park between gums and cheeks until tingling stops, then repeat
