A local Christian church is important because…?
-because it is the focal point of Christian identity and worship
-where people go to show their devotion to God

God and how they should behave as Christians

How does the local church helps the local area?

movement working for co-operation between the Churches and eventual Church unity
How and why does the local church help the individual believer?
A local church provides an individual believer with:
-the chance to worship
-the opportunity to partake in the sacraments
-a place where they can deepen their faith through sermons and discussions
-Christian fellowship
church does this because it believes that it is part of the Body of Christ and that it must welcome, nurture and provide spiritual sustenance for fellow members of Christ’s body.
