Q

What is Level 1 Cylinder Damage

A

Minor abrasions, scuffs, cuts or scratches to the surface resin or the exterior coating

17
Q

What is level 2 cylinder damage

Abrasions that penetrate partially or completely through the outer glass fibre layers must be repaired by a qualified technician using epoxy to reseal the fibres. The cylinder must be tagged and sent for repair

18
Q

What is level 3 cylinder damage

A

If the damage penetrates completely through the outer fiberglass layers to the carbon fiber or to the aluminum cylinder shell the cylinder must be condemned. The cylinder must be tagged and sent for repair/disposal.
