A
Dark brown urine AKI with disproportionately raised creatinine Muscle pain Weakness Vomiting Vonfusion

What investigations are done for rhabdomyolysis?
A
Urinalysis- characteristic dark brown colour, haematuria
FBC, U&Es, Ca, ABG- AKI, CK >1000, hypocalcaemia, hyperphospataemia, hyperkalaemia, metabolic acidosis

How is rhabdomyolysis managed?
A
Large volume IV fluids
Dialysis if required

What is the management of hyperkalaemia?
A
IV calcium gluconate- stabilise myocardium
Insulin-dextrose

A
AKI
Elecyrolyte abnormalities
Metabolic acidosis
