A
Loin pain
Fever
Systemically unwell
Urinary symptoms less pronounced

What investigations are done for acute pyelonephritis?
A
MSSU dipstick and culture

What is the management of acute pyelonephritis?
A
Start on antibiotics immediately and review once cultured- at least 7 days, often levofloxacin or ciprofloxacin
Analgesia and hydration
?hospitalisation
