Psychoactive substances ban

The Psychoactive Substances Bill was introduced to put a blanket ban on “legal highs” sold online or on the high street.
For example, under the bill an offender if in possession of a psychoactive drug can receive a fine or up to 12 months in prison.

Talk to Frank
A
The Government has set up ”Talk to Frank” where people can get confidential advice about drugs if they have any issues or worries. The aim is by providing targeted and accurate information on drugs, particularly to school pupils, less people will use drugs leading to less drug related crimes taking place.
For example, Talk to Frank has a phone number which can be called 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They also offer text, email and live chat options also.
