Here, offenders are ordered to carry out
between 20 and 300 hours of unpaid work within the community.
For example, cleaning graffiti, litter picking. redecorating schools, gardening parks.

Financial Fines
A
Financial fines are a sum of money paid by the convicted person to the court. This can be paid in one lump sum or in instalments over a longer period of time.
Failure to pay a fine can lead to the person having to complete a prison sentence.
For example, in Scotland using your phone whilst driving results in 6 points and a £200 fine.
