High crime areas are more likely to be run down and suffer from graffiti and vandalism. This makes the area unappealing and often bus stops, play parks and cars will be targeted leaving services out of order or people’s property damaged.

For example; Easterhouse in Glasgow has high levels of vandalism and property damage
