Q

What are resistors in series like?

A
  • In series adds together.
  • Current has to pass through each resistor in turn.
  • It cannot bypass any resistor.
  • Could replace the individual resistors with one.
  • Equiavalent resistance

Q

Reason?

A
  • More than one pathway for current to take.
  • More total current will flow through the circuit.
  • If current has increased but P.d has not changed:
  • total Resistance decreases.
