What does potential Difference mean? (Voltage).
A
- PD of 1 volt tells us that 1 joule of energy is transferred for each coulomb of charge.

How do we measure PD?
A
- Volt Meter.
- Tells us how energy is transferred in an electrical circuit.
- Place is across from the cell and bulbs.

What happens if we have 2 lamps?
A
- Total energy carried by the current has been shared between the lamps.
- Total PD across both lamps is the same as the p.d across the cell.
