Advantages of internal recruitment
Cheaper than external
Quicker to recruit person will known the business no need for induction training
More confident that the person is suited for job
Good morale for offering promotion
Disadvantages of internal recruitment
Promotion leads to jealousy
Backfilling will still require recruitment
Limited choice there may not be enough people applying
Existing staff may not bring new ideas to help the business .improve the business
External recruitment
