Congestion - alveolar spaces with neutrophils and fluids- capillary engorgement
Red hepatization- more neutrophils, fills alveolar spaces
Gray hepatization- neutrophils, debris and fibrin
Resolution- “organizing pneumonia” Balls of fibroblasts
