Phenoxybenzamine vs Phentolamine

A

Phenoxybenzamine: irreversible alkylator of alpha receptors. t1/2 = 24 hrs. Oral dosing.

Phentolamine: reversible inhibitor of alpha receptors. t1/2 = 20 mins. IV or IM.
