part of equality act and requires public sector organisations to pay due regard to the need to
- eliminate unlawful discrimination, harassment and victimisation and other conduct prohibited by the act

what are the 4 main types of discrimination
- direct discrimination
(treating one worse due to protected characteristic) - indirect discrimination
(policy of doing things what has a worse impact on someone with protected characteristic) - harassment
(ppl cant treat you in a way that violates your dignity etc) - victimisation
(treating someone unfairly because they are taking action under equality act etc)
what is a reasonable adjustment
making changes when a disabled person is at a significant disadvantage, either when services are being provided or in workplace
