PO or cadet, may IBM accordance with the sections be required to:

• submit to an alco or BA or both for testing presence of alcohol
• submit to drug screening
• provide biological sample (blood test, urinalysis or OFA)

Question 3

When might a PO or Cadet be subject to drug and alcohol testing?

Answer 3

• involved in a critical incident while on duty
• engaged in HR driving
• Reasonable cause to believe the member recently consumed alcohol or used a drug
• member is applying for classified appointment or position
