proposes that personality consists of five central trait factors

What are the 3 clusters of PD in the DSM V
Cluster A: Odd or Eccentric
Cluster B: Dramatic/emotional/Erratic
Cluster C: Anxious/Fearful
What are the 3 categories in Cluster A: Odd/Eccentric
Paranoid (unjustively argumentative/sus)
Schizoid (Unter disinterest in relationships/ppl)
Schizotypical ( Eccentric thoughts, perceptions, behaviours. difficulty producing close relations)
What are the 4 categories in cluster B: Dramatic/Emotional/Erratic
- Antisocial PD- describes people who consistently violate rights of others
- Borderline PD- Difficulty regulating emotions, especially negative ones like anger/sadness
- Histrionic PD- Excessively dramatic and emotional behaviour (crave being center of attention)
- Narcissistic PD- Exhibit grandiosity
What are the 3 categories of cluster C: anxious or fearful
Avoident PD: avoids social interactions due to excessive worry about being criticized or rejected
Dependent PD: Lacks confidence in own abilities; seek advice and reassurance from others\
Obsessive compulsive PD: Dispoportiontly focused on oderliness/rules/control
