Physical , Intellectual, Emotional and Social needs
What is meant by a persons wishes ?
Their likes and dislikes , choices , desired health goals
What is meant by a persons circumstances ?
Illnesses or a disability , access to facilities , previous experiences , family and relationships , responsibilities .
What are the benefits of the person centred approach ?
Will feel involved , is more likely to trust a health professional who listens , will feel more secure , is more likely to follow the plan , will take responsibility for their own health .
