What can high blood pressure do ?
If blood pressure is too high than it will put strain on the heart .
What is meant by a persons blood pressure ?
Its the pressure exerted by the blood against artery walls , it aids measured in millimetres .
What are the two numbers for blood pressure ?
Systolic pressure , Diastolic pressure .
What is Systolic pressure ?
its the maximum pressure in the blood vessels as the heart pushes out blood .
What is Diastolic ?
(the bottom number ) is the minimum pressure in the vessels when the heart relaxes between beats .
What abnormalities can show as a result of high blood pressure ?
heart disease , kidney didease , stroke , dimetia and hypertension this could show a healthy heart however for some people it may cause dizziness , low blood pressure can link to age or the result of medication .
List some causes of high blood pressure ?
Lifestyle choices / smoking /alcohol/drugs , Diet /unhealthy diet /salt intake , Genetic inheritance , lack of exericse , being overweight , stress
