Indications
A
Angina refractory to other medical or surgical treatment.

Dose Range
A
Loading dose:
200-300mg d for 7 days
Maintenance (normal metabolisers): 100mg -200mg d
Maintenance (slow metabolisers): 50-100mg daily

Counselling/SE
A
- dizziness
- You will need to go for regular blood test whilst taking this medication
- tell dr if you have weakness, weight loss, pins and needles or numbness of fingers and toes
SE:
- dizziness, headache
- weight loss, nausea
- hepatotoxicity
- peripheral neuropathy
- hypoglycaemia
