- Wounds (e.g. diabetic foot ulcer)

200mg-4g daily

Counseling/SE
A
- Take with food
- Avoid alcohol to prevent nausea, vomiting, flushing, headache and palpitations
- Stop and tell dr if you have any numbness, tingling, pain or weakness in hands or feet.
- Dizziness
SE:
- n/v
- abdominal pain
- diarrhoea
- anorexia
- metallic taste, furry tongue
- CNS effects (dizziness, headaches)
- peripheral neuropathy
- disulfuram reaction when taken with alcohol
