50 – 300 mg daily (increase slowly)

Counselling/SE
A
- Use everyday –> preventative
- with or after food
- Rash, swollen lips/mouth, fever/sore throat –> SEE DOC
- Drink heaps of water (prevent kidney stone)
- dizziness/drowsiness –> don’t drive
SE:
- macupapular or itchy rash
- minor hypersensitivity (pruritus and dermatitis)
- fever
- drowsiness vertigo
- GI disturbances (n/v, d, abdo pain)
