A

v non-specific:

  • bloating
  • early satiety
  • pelvic pain
  • urinary symptoms
  • wt loss

  • CA-125 blood test
  • pelvic USS if >35
  • staging MRI pelvic /CT chest abdo pelvis

FIGO staging:

stage 1: only in ovary

stage 2: out of ovary but inside pelvis

stage 3: out of pelvis but inside abdo

stage 4: spread outside abdo (distant mets)
