- elderly women
- highest incidence in 80-84
- most common gynae malignancy

Risk factors?
A
- Age
- BRCA1&2
- Lynch Syndrome
- obesity
- smoking

More ovulations= higher risk:
- no pregnancies
- early menarche/late menopause

pathology?
A
majority are epithelial cell adenocarcinoma (mucinous, serous)

Presentation?
A
v non-specific:
- bloating
- early satiety
- pelvic pain
- urinary symptoms
- wt loss

Ix?
A
- CA-125 blood test
- pelvic USS if >35
- staging MRI pelvic /CT chest abdo pelvis

staging?
A
FIGO staging:
stage 1: only in ovary
stage 2: out of ovary but inside pelvis
stage 3: out of pelvis but inside abdo
stage 4: spread outside abdo (distant mets)

Mx?
A
- surgery
- hysterectomy + BSO + omentectomy
- chemotherapy
