Contraindications

Dosage
Adult: 4mg slow IV
Paed: 0.1mg/Kg IV slowly or IM to Max 4mg

Precise mode of action in the control of nausea & vomiting is not known

Side Effects
Headache
Sensation of warmth
Flushing
Injection site reactions (Rash, Itching, Urticaria)
Uncommon: Arrhythmias Bradycardia Hiccups Hypotension Seizures

Additional Info
Caution in patients with a known Hx or FMHx of cardiac conduction intervals (QT prolongation) or if patient has a Hx of arrhythmias or electrolyte imbalance
