Amiodarone Dosages

A

Adult:
5mg/Kg IV/IO over 20mins - 2 hours

**Loading dose in Cardiac Arrest **
300mg and supplemental dose of 150mg if VF persists after minimum 15 mins

Symptomatic Tachycardia
150mg in 100ml Glucose 5%

Paed:
5mg/Kg IV/IO

AV conducting abnormalities

A

If diluted mix with Dextrose 5%
May be flushed with NaCl
For Peads Calculations add 150mg/3ml to 2ml Glucose 5% to make 150mg in 5ml
