Pre-filled syringe 0.5mg/0.5ml
Ampoule 600 mcg in 1 ml.

Atropine Indications
Symptomatic Bradycardia
Cholinergic Poison (Organophosphate Poisoning) with bradycardia and salivation
Atropine Contraindications
KSAR
Post-cardiac Transplantation
(Closed angle glaucoma
Achalasia of the oesophagus
Paralytic Ileus
Toxic megacolon) Not relevent in Emergency
Atropine Dosage
Cholinergic Poisoning - 1mg IV, Repeat at 3-5min intervals to ensure minimal salivary secretions.
Symptomatic Bradycardia - 0.5mg (500mcg) IV. Repeat at 3-5min intervals to max 3mg.
Paediatric: Not Indicated
Atropine Side Effects
Tachycardia
Dry Mouth
Dilated Pupils
Atropine Additional Info
Accidental exposure to the eye causes blurred vision
DO not administer Atropine if temperature <34C
