2ww for ovarian cancer if:
Finding of ascites or pelvic/abdo mass (not fibroids)
US suggests ovarian cancer
Measure CA125 if a woman has persistent/frequent:
Abdo distension/bloating
Early satiety/anorexia
Pelvic or abdo pain
Urinary urgency/frequency
IBS symptoms >50y
Consider CA125 test if woman reports:
Unexplained weight loss
Fatigue
Change in bowel habit
First-line test for suspected ovarian cancer
Serum CA125
Serum CA125 >=35 IU/ml
US abdo-pelvis
2ww endometrial cancer referral if:
> 55y + PMB (unexplained, 12m after LMP)
Consider 2ww for endometrial cancer if:
<55y + post-menopausal bleeding
Consider direct-access US (endometrial) if >55y + unexplained vaginal discharge and:
1st presentation
Thrombocytosis
Report haematuria
Consider direct-access US (endometrial) if >55y + visible haematuria and:
Low Hb
Thrombocytosis
High blood glucose
Consider 2ww for cervical cancer
Appearance consistent with cervical cancer
Consider 2ww for vulval cancer if:
Unexplained vulval lump/ulceration/bleeding
Consider 2ww for vaginal cancer if:
Unexplained mass in/at entrance to vagina
2ww for prostate cancer if:
Prostate feels malignant on DRE
Consider PSA + DRE if:
Nocturia, frequency, hesitancy, urgency, retention
Erectile dysfunction
Visible haematuria
PSA threshold 40-49y
> 2.5 mcg/L
