Listeriosis- causes
-infectious disease caused by a bacterium (listeria monocytogenes)
-spread by inhalation or direct contact

-depression
-loss of appetite
-fever
-lack of coordination
-isolation
-facial paralysis

-antibiotics
-if signs of encephalitis are severe death usually occurs despite treatment

-causes the nerves in the lower spine to stop working properly
-mutation in genes

-scuffing the back feet while walking
-difficulty jumping, climbing steps
-weak, wobbly back legs, gradually more paralysed over time

Abnormal electrical activity in brain that causes uncontrolled body movements

-loss of consciousness
-jerking movements
-paddling legs
-tense/cramped muscles
-eyes rolling back side/side
-drooling/frothing
-peeing/pooing
