Mix of the three IRS

It has an algorithm to bias the other 2

Will take from one IRS
What is GPIRS?
Mix of GPS and MIXIRS, each IRS will sample each GPS data to come up with the best position.
What is the FMCG priority for GPIRS
Onside, 3 then other side.
What is the FM position?
GPIRS position biased towards Radio Position or MIX IRS depending on altitude.
Will you get runway update with GPS Primary?
No.
What is the priority order for FM position?
IRS-GPS
IRS DME/DME
IRS VOR?DME
IRS only
If IR light on overhead panel is flashing?
Means the IRS may be recoverable in ATT mode, if it is steady then totally inop.
