Q

What were some key causes of the French revolution?

A

French society was divided into three estates. The people of the third estate were mostly peasants and they were angry about the few rights and high taxes they had. France was ruled by an absolute monarch and the ideas of the enlightenment inspired the French people to overthrow their unfair kings. France was also in an economic crisis where the king spent too much and put France in debt
