A

avoid hay!!
Pasture with no hay supplementation
Haylage? botulism
Steamed hay
Soaked hay- less effective and E loss of 5-10%
Alflafa soaked hay has less resp allergens but also less bit C
Processed/ pelletted/ complete feed like alpine mash or hay cobs
