When a page turned 14 what happened and what did they do.
They became a squire and the duty of a squire was to learn about chivalry and the rules of a knight, learn horsemanship and practice with weapons. They also learned about the social life in the castle and learnt courtly etiquette, music, and dancing
What did a squire do in the battlefield
They assisted Knights on the battlefield by carrying weapons and tending to horses. Most squires were killed on the battlefield
