- Hypersensitivity

- Cough
- Laryngospasm, bronchospasm
- HA
- Blurred vision, nystagmus
- Hypotension
- Respiratory depression/arrest
- Pain at the injection site

A
- Provide continuous monitoring of respiratory and cardiac function
- Have resuscitative equipment and antagonist readily at hand
