Q

Describe how reactions in a cell works

A

In a cell there are lots of chemical reactions happening all the time which are controlled by enzymes. many of these reactions are linked together to form bigger reactions. REACTANT—enzyme—>PRODUCT—enzyme—>PRODUCT—enzyme—>PRODUCT.

Q

Describe how larger molecules are made in some reactions

A

Larger molecules are made from smaller molecules during a reaction. For example: Lots of small glucose molecules are joined together to form starch, glycogen and cellulose
