Signs- ON
EMER Descent- INITIATE
If A/THR not active
THR Levers- IDLE
SPD BRK- FULL
Stall recovery
“STALL, I have control”
NOSE PITCH DOWN
BANK WINGS LEVEL
When out of stall:
THRUST- Increase smoothly
SPEEDBRAKES- Check retracted
FLIGHTPATH- Recover smoothly
If in clean config below 20 000ft:
FLAP1-Select
Stall warning at liftoff
“STALL, TOGA 15deg”
Thrust- TOGA
Pitch- 15 deg
Bank- wings level
Unreliable airspeed indication
“Unreliable speed”
If the safe conduct of the flight is impacted:
AP-OFF
A/THR-OFF
FD-OFF
PITCH/THRUST:
Below THRUST RED ALT- 15° / TOGA
Above THRUST RED ALT and Below FL 100- 10° / CLB
Above THRUST RED ALT and Above FL 100- 5° / CLB
FLAPS (if CONF 0(1)(2)(3))- MAINTAIN CURRENT CONF
FLAPS (if CONF FULL)- SELECT CONF 3 AND MAINTAIN
SPEEDBRAKES- CHECK RETRACTED
L/G- UP
At or above MSA/circuit altitude, Level off to troubleshoot.
EGPWS Cautions
Night or IMC:
“PULL UP TOGA”
AP- OFF
PITCH- Pull up (full backstick)
THRUST LEVERS- TOGA
SPEED BRAKE- Check retracted
BANK- Wings level or adjust
*Do not change config until clear
Daylight/VMC: or Don’t sink:
FLIGHT PATH- Adjust
Sink rate: or Glideslope:
Above 1000ft IMC/500ft VMC:
FLIGHT PATH- Adjust
Below 1000ft IMC/500ft VMC:
GO AROUND- Consider
Too Low Gear/Flaps:
GO AROUND- Perform
Deliberately below GS:
G/S MODE- Off
EGPWS Warnings
“Pull up TOGA”
AP- Off
PITCH- Pull up
THRUST- TOGA
SPEED BRAKES- Check retracted
BANK- wings level or adjust
*do not change config until clear of obstacles
TCAS Traffic Advisory
TCAS Mode- Check armed
TCAS Warning- Resolution Advisory

AP/FD TCAS available
If AP off: (except approach Climb RA)
FD ORDERS-follow (AP can be engaged)
VS- Monitor
Approach Climb RA (conf 3 or full):
GO AROUND- Perform
VS- Monitor
ATC- Notify
When ‘clear of conflict’ aural sounds:
AP/FD- Monitor/follow
ATC- Notify
LATERAL/VERTICAL GUIDANCE- adjust
SPEED- Adjust
AP/FD TCAS not available

BOTH FD- Off
VS- Adjust/maintain
Approach Climb RA (conf 3 or full):
GO AROUND- Perform
VS- Monitor
ATC- Notify
When ‘clear of conflict’ aural sounds:
ATC- Notify
LATERAL/VERTICAL GUIDANCE- adjust
AP/FD- As req
Windshear warning- Reactive Windshear
“Windshear TOGA”
At takeoff before V1:
If significant airspeed variations- reject
At takeoff after V1:
THR LEVERS- TOGA
REACHING VR- Rotate
SRS ORDERS- follow
Airborne, initial climb or landing:
THR LEVERS TOGA- set or confirm
AP (if engaged)- keep on
SRS ORDERS- follow
*do not change config until clear
*power back, pull heading, flaps
