Manual selection not available during single pack or with bleed supplied by APU. In the cases high flow- 40% more than ECON flow.
In what config are CAT II and CAT III fail passive autoland approved?
Configuration 3 and full.
Forward and aft cargo detectors and loops?
Forward: 4 detectors (2 compartments) linked to 2 detection loops.
Aft: 6 detectors (3 compartments) linked to 3 detection loops.

What fuel tanks does A321 have?
Centre and Wing tanks only (no inner/outer).
Centre tank uses jet pumps to transfer fuel into each wing tank.
What sequence do A321 fuel tanks feed?
-centre tank; fuel transfers into the wing tanks (after 250kg used from the wing tanks)

When does low fuel memo appear in A321?
Fuel quantity in either wing is below 1500kg.
When fuel is gravity fed from centre tank to wing tanks, why is 2000kg unusable?
This assists in a forward CG.

What is the purpose of auto flap retraction on A321?
At heavy takeoff weight, S speed may be higher than MAX speed for config 1+F (225kt).
Continue to accelerate and at 210kt auto flap retraction will occur and MAX speed will move to 235kt.
What is a risk of speed brake extension with high wing loading in A321?
VLS may increase above the target speed
At high weights during deceleration, green dot can be above Vfe next. How can Conf 1 be selected?
Selected a lower. Eg. If green dot is 235kt, select 225kt.
A321 tailstrike- pitch attitude awareness:
Landing gear not compressed- 11 deg
Landing gear compressed- 9.5 deg
On A321 CEO, does final landing config provide a margin above VLS?
Only on sharklet aircraft- 5kt margin on PFD.
On non-shark jet aircraft if speed additives not already applied to PERF APPR, 2-3kt can be added to restore margin.
Turbulence penetration speed?
275kts to 20000ft,
305kts into 0.76.
