Why is meal timing important for balancing blood sugar?
Sporadic eating creates extreme highs and lows for blood sugar levels which creates stress on the body.
How does the body become reactionary or in a place of survival?
When you skip meals or have light or small snack in the morning with a big or heavy dinner at night.
What happens when you eat too frequently?
It becomes taxing for the body and leads to insulin resistance, which means the body requires higher levels of insulin to bring the blood glucose concentration back down to a physiological balance.
How does meal timing help with repair insulin sensitivity?
By spacing out meals throughout the day and having minimal snacks. Also finding the right amount and balance of macronutrients is essential.
